<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature class contains roadway segment-based Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) Program Book project locations for the current fiscal year and the following five program years. The source tabular data is provided annually by the NDOT Program Management Division and includes all projects for the current Program Book cycle.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The GIS group creates this segment feature class from the source tabular data. Projects are separated into point and segment features based on project length. Projects with a length of 0.3 meter or greater are represented in this segment feature class.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Dynamic segmentation is used to derive project geometry from route and reference-post information, including project limits where available. This segment layer is used together with the ProgramBook_Point layer to create Program Book map series for Program Management review. After review, the final data are published as part of the annual Program Book workflow and to the Portal ProgramBookDOT map service for use in public-facing applications.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV> |
