<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The Nebraska Universal Service Fund-131 (NUSF-131) Projects dataset provides an authoritative, statewide geospatial and tabular representation of broadband-capable infrastructure projects awarded funding through the Nebraska Universal Service Fund-131 reverse auction program. The dataset includes project locations and selected award attributes such as award year, funding amounts, administering entities, project status, and general project purpose.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The NUSF-131 program was established pursuant to Nebraska state law to support the deployment of broadband infrastructure in unserved areas through a competitive reverse auction mechanism. The Nebraska Public Service Commission administers NUSF-131 projects in accordance with statutory requirements, program rules, and Commission orders. Reverse auction opportunities were opened, and projects were awarded in 2022, with two additional auction opportunities conducted in 2024. There are no active auction opportunities at this time; however, the Commission may open future opportunities subject to funding availability for targeted eligible unserved locations. This dataset supports planning, coordination, reporting, and public transparency related to broadband infrastructure investments in Nebraska.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
