<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This dataset represents Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) geospatial approximations of eligible deployment areas associated with the FCC/Universal Service Administration Company (USAC) Alternative Connect America Cost Model (ACAM) for rate-of-return carriers in Nebraska. The original project areas were based on 2010 Census blocks. PSC used the original tabular program/support data to establish the geospatial representation and represents the full eligible area for deployment as a dissolved polygon.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This PSC-maintained dataset supports statewide broadband mapping, planning, analysis, and program coordination activities by providing carrier/study area-level information for model-based support and planned service locations. Key tracked attributes include project name, carrier, total model-based support, and total locations planned for service.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Nebraska carriers documented in the original ACAM award information and retained in this PSC dataset include:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>PIERCE TEL CO — 854 locations planned for service; total model-based support: $1,247,210</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>HOOPER TEL CO — 1,051 locations planned for service; total model-based support: $1,157,018</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN>Carriers that were in the original award had the option to migrate to Enhanced ACAM. Pierce and Hooper are the carriers identified by PSC as remaining in ACAM.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN><BOL>Source Information:</BOL> </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Model support values were derived from ACAM 2.3.1 - Report Version 8.0, Report 8.4, dated August 15, 2016.
