Data for the Nebraska Capital Projects Fund dataset are derived from Nebraska Capital Projects Fund award documentation, program management records, and associated spatial reference materials. Award information is reviewed for completeness and standardized for inclusion in a statewide geospatial dataset. Spatial features are created or updated using authoritative boundary layers or project location information supplied by award recipients and administering entities.
The dataset is maintained to support ongoing administration of awarded projects and updated periodically to update awarded projects, project status, corrections, or approved changes.
CPF project areas were compiled for awarded projects using applicant-supplied project areas for 2023 and 2024 award cycles. Attribute data were extracted from PSC dockets, orders, and project tracking records.
